If you are looking for something a little quieter and stylish and on the higher end of mid-range, try out the Hotel Indigo Glasgow. It was once a 19th century electricity station which has been transformed into a hotel. It boasts of 94 rooms across the entire building and blends both new and old architecture giving it a true Glasgow feel. This hotel boasts of a lot of art, which makes it feel almost like you are staying in an art gallery. The rooms here are spacious, featuring one king size bed or two queens and each one featuring a desk and separate sitting space with armchair. The bathrooms are lovely and modern but don’t feature bathtubs, rather just walk in toward the tiled showers. If you do want to splurge, try the on-site fine dining restaurant known for its great cocktails and exceptional food. If you want suggestions in the area for shopping, attractions and restaurants, the staff members at the hotel are well versed in where to direct you. Overall a more high-end stay but can still be enjoyed in mid-range price.
