In a total 180 from the retro-mod LA hotel norm, Hotel Figueroa invites guests to take a little trip back to the set of 'Casablanca'. All rooms and special city-themed suites are decked out with exotic carpets and desert-hued furnishings.
Built in 1925 as a YWCA residence, the 12-storey property is a little bit dated around the edges, but the decor conceals it well. Perfectly located opposite the Staples Center and the Nokia Theater, and just a block from the Convention Center, this Downtown oasis tends to be a favorite with groups.
