The city of Winnipeg sure does love its pancakes and it is no surprise that The Original Pancake House is one of the best family restaurants out there. There is a total of four locations in Winnipeg and whichever you visit, families get the same excellent treatment and food. The city of Winnipeg sure does love its pancakes and it is no surprise that The Original Pancake House is one of the best family restaurants out there. There is a total of four locations in Winnipeg and whichever you visit, families get the same excellent treatment and food. Parents love the fact that as soon as they are seated they are offered a steaming cup of delicious coffee, the perfect way to start the day. What makes this restaurant really famous though is the gigantic apple pancake that has become quite famous. This giant pancake is topped with delicious cinnamon sugar glaze and both parents and kids alike go nuts for it! The locations are all large enough to accommodate the number of locals and tourists that come out every day to experience the best pancakes in Canada and have plenty of booths which are always a hit with the kids. And hey, if its not pancakes that you want, this restaurant offers a plethora of other meal options including waffles, bacon and eggs, crepes, salads, sandwiches and more. And don’t forget to try the amazing dessert.
