Baishakhi is a simple and cheap Indian restaurant, and takeaway located in Mestre. Along with Indian food, they also serve donner kebabs and pizzas that you can either eat in or takeaway. The food is tasty with lots of vegetarian options, and portion sizes are big with a great value at around only €5.The staff is friendly and helpful, but the ambience of the restaurant could really be improved and the food is served on plastic plates with plastic cutlery. But the food itself is tasty and cheap, service is quick, and so it’s a good place to have a quick, no frills, Indian meal that doesn’t cost much. The restaurant is also open until late, making it convenient for a late dinner if you are staying in Mestre.
