Aroma of the freshly baked breads and the sweet smell of chocolates welcome you soon as you step in The Bakery at Hyatt Regency. Situated at the entrance of the Waterside Café, the bakery has a fine selection of pastries, cookies, cakes and confectionaries. The menu has single origin truffles, gateaux and cake, pastries, puffs and few choices fresh from the oven. The bakery offers awesome pastries—grand truffle slice, black forest slice, opera slice and fresh fruit gateaux slice (eggless). The cakes and gateaux are best for every special occasion, and you can choose from black forest gateaux, grand truffle gateaux, eggless tiramisu cake, eggless fresh fruit gateaux (2 pounds) and opera cake.
All single origin truffles on the menu are eggless—be it the delicious Madagascar coffee and Kahlua, Java chocolate marzipan and date or the mouth-watering Ecuador orange truffle. You can also choose to have something fresh from the oven, such as chocolate croissant, fruit/crumble danish, Mississippi mud pie, walnut brownie, date and rum slice, palmier (eggless), chocolate chip muffin, muffin (eggless) and banana bread. To take a break from sweets, you can order puffs such as paneer croissant and vegetable puff. In case you are a non-vegetarian, then you can also try chicken tikka puff and chicken croissant. Along with enjoying these delicacies at the bakery, you also have the option of taking these back home to pamper your near and dear ones.
