If you veer toward healthy food or you’re vegan as a rule, then Soul Kitchen is the place for you. The restaurant offers a refreshing change from run-of-the-mill eateries in Sofia. It is also responsible for making the culinary landscape of the city friendlier for vegetarians. The restaurant itself is small and intimate, with a gorgeous garden. Food is tasty, fresh and extremely imaginative. The menu is inspired by different cuisines from around the globe and it never gets boring or repetitive. Additionally, every single dish is made using the finest ingredients—whether it’s Himalayan pink salt or cold pressed organic olive oil. One thing is for sure—Soul Kitchen does not compromise on quality.
Try to steer clear of imitation meats because the chef spins magic with fresh vegetables and fruits. The gazpacho, hummus and guacamole deserve a special mention. But if you want something a bit more filling, there are vegan risottos and pizzas on the menu. If you have a sweet tooth, then wrap up your meal with the 100% raw chocolate cake—it’ll satiate your craving for dessert while doing good to your body. What else could you possibly want?
