Located in the heart of Cusco city, this restaurant serves food that is in harmony with ‘Mother Nature’, or Pachamama like the Shamans would say. Run by a very special and loving family, the decor at Shaman Restaurant is wonderful. Books, wood, drapes and crystals are all an integral part of the space. Besides serving food they also conduct Shamanic meditations and ceremonies for visitors. The entire space has immense energy and radiates positivity.
The food is moderately priced and well presented. Although they serve home-style Peruvian food in addition to international food, the complete focus is on healthy ingredients and cleanliness. We love the idea of sitting on communal tables and sharing a meal with others. It provides the perfect opportunity to meet locals and travellers alike.
