Located in Gokulesh Complex in Alkapuri, Sasumaa has won many hearts with its authentic Gujarati thali. Varieties of food on thalis are served with love and devotion, where waiters are super quick to fill your bowls. Multiple varieties of sabzis, farsans, mithais, chaas or rotis are served even before you have asked. This certainly leads to overindulgence, and before you realise, you are filled up to brim. During mango season, aam ras adds an extra flavour to the already delicious menu. Patrons of Sasumaa recommend that guests go there on empty stomachs, to do justice to the superlative Gujrati delicacies. The Thali can make a sumptuous meal and it would be an ideal place for a business lunch. Great thing about the place is that the menu keeps changing, offering variety of seasonal vegetables, snacks and sweets. This ensures you go there again and again.
