Buddha Soul is an Indian restaurant located on the Lido Island, just a short boat ride away from Venice. The restaurant serves tasty, good quality and authentic food, one of the best in Venice, Indian food from all over India. The large menu has many vegetarian, non-vegetarian, and vegan dishes, including starters, breads, curries, and a variety of interesting thalis to try. There are also some innovative deserts, along with Italian and Mediterranean dishes, which include falafel, couscous, tofu, and Seitan dishes. The setting is relaxed and the service is friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable, and they also offer takeaway.
The Lido Island also makes a refreshing and relaxing change from the crowded, winding streets of Venice, where you can swim or enjoy time on the beach before visiting Buddha Soul. If you want a good Indian meal then it’s worth making the effort to take a trip out here, as the food, service and prices are all better than at Ganesh Ji. But be aware that they don’t offer tandoori dishes.
