It is not as “quick” as the other eateries on this list, but if you want to sit down for half an hour and enjoy some fabulous food and a glass of Italian wine, do not miss out on this place. Located right near the Trevi Fountain, we can assure you that there will be a queue to grab a table, and it’s most efficient to come early in the evening or late afternoon if you don’t want to wait. The eatery itself is small, cozy and packed with rows of wine bottles, table, and chairs. Make sure to try the platters, whether you order a medium sized platter of meats and cheese, or splurge for the large platter that has it all. Do not be fooled though, this is not your typical restaurant, more like a self-service bar, and you won’t find servers and wait staff. If you have a bit of time, and wish to experience some of the most delicious meats and cheeses in the city, don’t hesitate to visit La Prosciutteria.Refrain from posting comments that are obscene, defamatory or inflammatory, and do not indulge in personal attacks, name calling or inciting hatred against any community.
