It is Rome's sole three-star Michelin restaurant, and that alone is a reason to eat here when you are in this beautiful city. The atmosphere is absolutely divine, and patrons should expect stunning furniture, sculptures, white table cloths, and a stunning view of the city. The menu here is small but superlative and the chefs take great care in selecting unique ingredients to work with. Some of the foods in the menu include loin of lamb with wild fennel in cereal crust and goat cheese pearls, marinated mackerel on Siciliancaponata, and iced sphere of red fruit on tea cream with crystallized raspberries for desert. Marco Reitano is the expert sommelier behind the two incredible wine lists that are at La Pergola, one from around the world and the other with its focus on Italy. Dedicated and knowledgeable staff is on available to guide you through your wine selections. You must have book a table in advance, and it will be one of the most extraordinary meals you have ever eaten in your entire life.
