If locals recommend a restaurant repeatedly, then it must be good indeed! Konoba Tabak is one such place. Despite more popular and more expensive options in the vicinity, you will find locals repeatedly recommending Konoba Tabak. The humble eatery doesn’t have the fanciest ambience but the food is excellent. Grilled meats, fresh seafood and pastas dominate the menu. The Fish of the Day is a favourite with patrons and it’s easy to see why—seafood here is grilled simply with olive oil, salt and pepper. This archetypal Mediterranean approach to food makes Konoba Tabak special. We love the Ajvar at KonobanTabak. This local specialty is basically a sauce made from garlic, eggplant and red peppers, and definitely worth a try. The restaurant is tucked away in a little corner of a parking lot. Unsurprisingly locals frequent KonobarTabak and there are few tourists around.
