For all of you Indians and Spaniards in Madrid craving for your curry fix, we bring you Tandoori Station, in Calle Ortega y Gasset. Tandoori Station takes a fusion approach to Indian food, offering a medley of Spanish-influenced fare. Tandoori Station’s prices are on the higher-end, though. But once you are Okay with the price factor, you would love it for its generous portions and the great quality of both service and food. The restaurant’s cool atmosphere, impeccably decorated interior, and presentation of the meals. Will bowl you over. And, if you’re feeling especially lazy to go home, know that Tandoori Station is the kind of place where you can linger on with a glass of drink or a dessert in hand. Try the Indian beer known as Crown, or the good ol’ lassi. Among the appetisers, samosas (filled with potato, peas and cilantro seeds) and aloo tikki (mini potato hamburgers with cottage cheese) served with titillating sauces are worth sampling. For the main course, Murghi Ki Balti (curried chicken with yogurt sauce, tomato, cilantro, anis and other spices) and the lamb curries eaten with Kashmiri rice and naan are great for the meat eaters. Vegetarians can order aubergines, curried spinach and the paneer dishes for an ideal meal.
