Much-loved Asian fusion in GraciaPopular plate: If you haven't had a Japanese hamburger before, here's where to try one: the hamburguesa Can Kenji comes topped with a fried egg - and, for the decadent, a slice of foie gras.

Actually, 'Asian' isn't strictly accurate. Run by a dual nationality couple (her a Barcelonian, him Japanese), Can Kenji's menu has a definite Spanish influence - think dishes such as iberico meat ramen - alongside more traditional elements such as super-fresh sushi and sashimi. But this is no Japanese-Spanish novelty act: the inventive flavour combinations are highly considered, well executed and, more often than not, brilliantly successful.
