Located 400 km from Lucknow, Vrindavan is a beautiful religious town in the Mathura region, where the Hindu god Krishna is believed to have spent his childhood days. Home to countless temples, the place is a perfect weekend getaway for religiously-inclined people. The holy town of Vrindavan is also known for Vrindavan Chandrodaya Mandir, which is the world's tallest temple under-construction. Some of the other prominent temples of Vrindavan include Meera Bai Temple, Garud Govind Temple and Madan Mohan Temple.
