The British Airways is working from 11 airports in India with special departures. Presently, it is operating from Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Hyderabad and Bengaluru. Soon, the airline will also start operations in Amritsar, Kolkata, Ahmedabad, Goa, Kochi and Thiruvananthapuram.
The citizens of the UK, who do not have a valid means to return back to their home country, can log on to India Travel Advice and reach out to the city-specific webpages for registration. The repatriation arrangement is a joint effort between the UK and Indian Government authorities, the British Airways and the airport department in the UK and India.
