The age of Instagram has seen a lot of people put up amazing pictures and give us travel goals, but at what cost? The newest place to spark backlash against travellers is Tenerife, the beautiful black-sand beach that is known for its towering stones.
According to reports, this trend started to gain momentum after there was a meditation event called the Harmonic Convergence in the US in 1987. Such towers were built during the event, and thus people started following suit all around the world.
