A few tour operators have been given the permit to fly 6000 German tourists, who won’t be under an obligation to follow the two-week quarantine rule levied on all foreign visitors in Spain. Reportedly, 4000 tourists from Germany will visit Majorca, 1000 tourists will visit Menorca and none, for now, to Formentera. Read less
According to the news reports, an official at the Spanish foreign ministry told an online news daily they are planning to allow a limited number of tourists to the Balearic Islands as an experiment.

A few tour operators have been given the permit to fly 6000 German tourists, who won’t be under an obligation to follow the two-week quarantine rule levied on all foreign visitors in Spain. Reportedly, 4000 tourists from Germany will visit Majorca, 1000 tourists will visit Menorca and none, for now, to Formentera.
According to the report published in Spanish news daily, the Canary Islands are also planning to conduct a similar tourist test program. Yet, a final plan and safety norms to test all visitors are yet to come in place.
