Located in the Celebes Sea, this small rainforest-covered tropical island is a must-visit for any enthusiastic driver. Besides its crystal clear waters and powdery soft sand, Sipadan is also an important environmental reserve with a dazzling array of marine life. Avid divers can expect to catch glimpses of turtles, mantis shrimps, leaf scorpions and hammer-head sharks, as well as large schools of barracudas and manta rays. A treasure trove of fish and coral species, Sipadan is so small that it takes only 25 minutes to circle the island on foot.
