Tourists who have already been there have shared their happy experiences, and have also loved the concept of this glass-wall, surrounded by snow.
If reports are to go by, this unique glass igloo restaurant has been developed by Kolahoi Green Heights, a hotel in Gulmarg, which also claims that it’s the first glass igloo restaurant in the valley. It should also be noted that the owners had earlier built the valley's first snow-covered restaurant as well.
Referring to this, Hotel Manager Hamid Masoudi added that the hotel has always taken unique measures to woo more tourists to Gulmarg. He added that the hotel earlier created a record by building the biggest Igloo in Asia, and they were credited for making the biggest Igloo in the world in 2021. This year, they have made a glass igloo, which is also a one-of-a-kind and first-ever in the valley.
Masoudi added that they were inspired by a concept from Finland, and went ahead to build three igloos in the courtyard of their hotel. He also added that they imported fabricated material, which has been used for this unique igloo. This unique glass-fronted restaurant not only offers great views, but also keeps the interior heat insulated.
Masoudi further added that eight people can sit in each of the glass igloos at a time, and that they are making all efforts to offer a different kind of experience to tourists.
