Kolkata is getting ready to celebrate the 8th edition of Kolkata Christmas Festival this year, starting December 21.The festival is going to entertain residents and visitors during Yule tide. Also, the fest is going to be held in seven other places across the state in a smaller capacity. Read less
Kolkata is getting ready to celebrate the 8th edition of Kolkata Christmas Festival this year, starting December 21.The festival is going to entertain residents and visitors during Yule tide. Also, the fest is going to be held in seven other places across the state in a smaller capacity.
Park Street is of course going to be graced by thousands of Christmas lights, and will ring in the New Year with its traditional fervour and spirit. You can expect a great number of bands and entertainers performing, which will include choirs, as well as famous musicians in the city. Every day from 4 to 9 pm, revellers will be treated to street music.
- Authentic community food stalls – between Free School Street and Park Street Post Office, December 22 to 30
- Kolkata Christmas Pageant – 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm
- Usha Uthup performance – December 22, from 7:30 pm to 9:30 pm
