Creek

This is for those who love the water and would love a dash of adventure. Get into a kayak and sail far away into the False Creek. For the novices like me, there are instructors galore patiently explaining the ropes. The Canadians love water sports and everywhere I see young and old people, very comfortably cooped in their kayaks, sailing away. I learn to navigate the kayak, almost bumping into my fellow tourists and then we are on our way, kayaking on the placid waters, watching yachts sail past us. You can hear a bit of history of False Creek, which was apparently twice the size earlier and the story of the Granville Island close by as you kayak away.
