Indian Railways has cancelled more than 80 trains due to low occupancy and also as a precaution to stop the spread of deadly Coronavirus. A set of guidelines has been issued to zonal railways, stating that any employee suffering from any of the symptoms, such as runny nose, cough, fever, or difficulty in breathing, should be kept away from the handling of the food business. As per the railway officials, Central Railways (CR) has cancelled 23 trains, Western Railways (WR) cancelled 10 trains, South-Central Railways cancelled 29 trains, Northern Railway Zone cancelled 5 trains, whereas the Southeastern Railway Zone cancelled 9 trains. Some of the long-haul trains are also included in the list.

- 22111 Bhusaval-Nagpur Express from March 18 to 29
- 12117/ 12118 LTT-Manmad Express from March 18 to 31
- 22140 Ajni-Pune Express on March 22 and 29
- 11418 Nagpur-Pune Express on March 20 and 27
- 11417 Pune-Nagpur Express on March 26 and April 2
- 22139 Pune-Ajni Express on March 21 and 28
- 11402 Nagpur-Mumbai Nandigram Express from March 22 to 31
