This unassuming little place in Barceloneta is famous for its bocadillos: vast, messy sandwiches with your choice of marinated meat, fish, cheese, salad toppings and dressing. For those whose eyes are bigger than their stomachs, patatas bravas are available on the side.

The staff speak good English, which isn't surprising as Bo de B's combination of delicious, substantial sustenance and modest prices have made this is a hotspot for bargain-hungry visitors as well as loyal locals.
