All offer sweeping views of the Huangpu River and surrounding cityscape; in 86 of the 184 rooms, you can take in sweeping vistas from the bathtub and shower. Decor in the rooms is unbeatable, a perfectly played mix of East meets West, with Chinese lanterns, floral print rugs, and crisp white sheets on downy, pillow-filled beds.
Though the hotel is large for a boutique, warm and friendly staff, cosy dining spaces, and plenty of bright colours make the place feel intimate.
