Wearable glass art
Talk of the town: Liuligongfang's glass pieces are made by award-winning film actress Loretta Hui-shan Yang.

Noteworthy for: While the contemporary art shop on the Zhongshan North Road has been selling its handmade glass objects since 1987, their flagship store is now in the 101 Gallery.
Liuligongfang is Taiwan's only artistic glass studio. Using pate-de-verre, a method of glass casting introduced during the Tang Dynasty, Loretta Hui-shan Yang creates jewellery, vases and sculptures that are sold in her handful of Taiwan shops and around the world.

Her pieces are so beautifully executed, they have also become part of the permanent collection at the National Palace Museum and at other museums around the world.

The shop itself resembles a gallery with each piece individually displayed in glass cases. While some sculptures cost up to NTD 500,000, the pendants begin at NTD 3,000.
