The most modern of Moscow's airportsTalk of the town: Airport regulars claim Domodedovo's branch of Coffee Mania serves the world's most expensive orange juice - it costs a whopping RUB 800 (around USD 25) a glass.
Of Moscow's three airports, Domodedovo, located south-west of the city, is the most modern and comfortable with plenty of shops, international coffee chains and fast food outlets.
In 2011, following a suicide bomb attack in the arrivals area, security at the airport is very high, so expect to pass through many metal detectors and x-ray scanners in all parts of the airport.
The absolute best way to reach Domodedovo airport is via the Aeroexpress train which links to Paveletskaya station on the metro circle line. The first trains leave at 6am and the last at midnight and the journey takes 40 minutes.
