A young couple from Delhi was excited to ring in 2022 at a nightclub on the Arpora-Anjuna border, just 3km away from their resort at Saunta Vaddo, Calangute. The excitement, however, quickly fizzled out when taxi drivers outside the resort quoted Rs 2,000 for a one-way trip to their destination.
