Builders of large projects will have to cough up Rs 5 lakh in fines if caught without anti-smog guns at their construction sites, the Uttar Pradesh Pollution Control Board (UPPCB) said on Tuesday. Builders have 10 days to procure the anti-smog guns, and inspections are likely to start from October 15 for compliance.
