Tech Mahindra chief executive CP Gurnani earned about 50% less in the fiscal year 2023, as per the company's annual report. The CEO earned Rs 32 crore in salary and other compensation in fiscal 2023, about half compared with Rs 63.4 crore the previous year. The reduction in remuneration was reportedly due to Gurnani exercising a lower number of stock options.

BRS Medak MP Kotha Prabhakar Reddy was stabbed while campaigning for the Telangana polls. The suspect, G Raju, approached the MP under the pretext of shaking hands and then stabbed him. Reddy was rushed to the hospital and underwent a three-hour operation. He is now stable. The attacker, who is suspected to be working for a local YouTube channel, was caught and beaten by BRS workers before being handed over to the police. The exact motive for the attack is still unknown.

Andhra Pradesh is among the top five states in the country to have successfully implemented the watershed programme.
