The update for Genshin Impact Luna V is expected to be released on 25th February 2026, based on the release cycle of each update. Recently, a credible source known as Hakushin in Genshin Impact has leaked all the details regarding the return of characters that could potentially be featured under Luna V banners. If the reports are to be believed, the upcoming Luna V update has three rerun banners, and it is also speculated to include a new playable character.

New Characters:

Varka (5-Star Anemo Claymore)

In the Song of the Welkin Moon Archon Quest, most of the players have been introduced to Varka, the Grandmaster of the Knights of Favonius. Furthermore, the developers have teased that Varka has an Anemo vision and uses the Claymore weapon in multiple trailers.

Rerun Banners:

Hakushin has also leaked the potential characters that could get a rerun banner in the Luna V update. However, the release orders of these banners are unknown. In order to learn about the Phase I and Phase II banners in Luna V, fans have to wait till the official announcement from the developers. Escoffier (5-star Cryo Polearm):

• Escoffier is a dedicated off-field DPS and support unit to any freeze team composition.
• She decreases the RES of enemies and provides healing with her elemental burst.

Skirk (5-star Cryo Sword):

• Skrik is another on-field DPS, whose teams primarily revolve around the Freeze reaction.
• Along with Escoffier, she is one of the top DPS units in the game.
• She can clear most endgame content with her premium team camp that includes Furina, Escoffier and Shenhe.
