Lockie Ferguson to Hammad Azam, OUT! PLUMB! Proper old-school stuff from Lockie Ferguson as he traps Hammad Azam in front of the stumps. A length delivery following a short-pitched delivery and the batter wasn't up for it. On a length angling into the batter, Hammad Azam gets eaten for pace and the ball thumps him on the front pad bang in the middle of middle. A gentle appeal and the umpire raises his finger.

Lockie Ferguson to Hammad Azam, It is evident that Hammad Azam is not the best at facing the short stuff and Lockie Ferguson bowls exactly that. Short-pitched around leg, Hammad Azam pulls this in the space behind mid-wicket and runs a couple.

Lockie Ferguson to Imad Wasim, Short-pitched outside off, Imad Wasim pokes at it as he looks to cut this over backward point but the ball goes through. There wasn't much of an appeal but Lockie Ferguson feels that Imad Wasim had edged this and convinced the skipper to opt for a review. The UltraEdge suggests a clear spike as the ball was next to the bat and Imad Wasim has to walk back. A good review by Washington Freedom and kudos to Lockie Ferguson for convincing his skipper to go for it.

Time for the final strategic break of this innings. Washington Freedom would feel they have done tremendous at this stage to curtain the run flow and that wicket of Heinrich Klaasen couldn't come at a better time for them.

Low full toss around off, Heinrich Klaasen clears his front leg and looks to sail this over Mukhtar Ahmed at long off but the ball did not get the desired elevation behind this and ended up in the safe custody of Mukhtar Ahmed right in front of long off. Heinrich Klaasen departs after a well-made half-century. 

Marco Jansen to Heinrich Klaasen, FOUR! FIFTY!  A boundary to follow the biggie. On a length around off, Heinrich Klaasen smashes this back past the bowler to his left and finds the fence for a boundary down the ground. This was smashed powerfully by Heinrich Klaasen and the fielder at long off had no chance of fielding this. Heinrich Klaasen gets a timely fifty for his side.
