The true turning point, however, came with the scintillating 88-run partnership between Ghosh and Sneh Rana, forged in just 53 deliveries. Rana played a crucial cameo of 33, allowing Ghosh to unleash a flurry of boundaries. Richa Ghosh's magnificent World Cup innings culminated in her dismissal for 94 in the final over, ensuring India had a truly competitive total on the board. The South Africa Women will certainly be disappointed, having initially dominated the innings with an excellent start. Chloe Tryon led the bowling charge for South Africa Women, taking 3/32. Marizanne Kapp, Nadine de Klerk, and Nonkululeko Mlaba each claimed two wickets

It was a remarkable recovery for the India Women, who hauled themselves from a precarious position of 102/6 to post a commanding total of 251. The innings began cautiously with Pratika Rawal and Smriti Mandhana, but Mandhana's dismissal in the 11th over heralded a middle-order collapse. Wickets tumbled at regular intervals, leaving the team in serious trouble until Amanjot Kaur and the dynamic Richa Ghosh arrived at the crease. Their 51-run partnership provided the initial stability, though Amanjot's 13 off 44 balls was primarily an anchor role.

She hits the hard length and on off, Sree Charani makes room to go over covers but only manages to slice it in the air. Laura Wolvaardt at extra covers moves forward and takes a dolly. Is that out or a No Ball? Richa Ghosh thinks that it is above the waist height, but the Ball Tracking comes up and shows it is a fair delivery. Ghosh will have to wal back here.

Nadine De Klerk to Richa Ghosh, OUT! TAKEN! Richa Ghosh just falls short of her century! However, it will not matter much, as she has put India Women in a fighting position in this game. Nadine De Klerk bowls a high full toss, on middle, dipping in a bit. Ghosh looks to go big down the ground but fails to get the timing right. It flies in the air towards long on, where Chloe Tryon takes a good catch. But Ghosh is standing her ground and asks the umpire to check for the No Ball. The third umpire is called into the action, and the replay with Ball Tracking shows that it is a fair delivery, as it is dipping under the waist by just 4 centimeters. Ghosh might have missed out on a ton, but she is walking off to a standing ovation from the crowd. She scored a fantastic 94 off 77, and India Women are 251/9!
