IND vs ZIM Highlights, 3rd T20I: All-round India beat Zimbabwe by 23 runs to go 2-1 up in series

Skipper Shubman Gill struck 66, while off-spinner Washington Sundar returned with 3/15 as India defeated Zimbabwe by 23 runs in the third T20I to take a 2-1 lead in five-match series in Harare on Wednesday.

Electing to bat, India scored 182/4 with Gill (66, 49b, 7x4, 3x6) and Ruturaj Gaikwad (49, 28b, 4x4, 3x6) leading the way with contrasting knocks.

For Zimbabwe, pacer Blessing Muzarabani (2/25) was the best bowler.

In reply, Zimbabwe made a late resurgence with Dion Myers' maiden T20I fifty in the company of Wellington Masakadza but only to fall short and were restricted for 159/6.

The fourth T20I of the series is slated on Saturday.

That's it! Blessing Muzarabani completes the final over of the innings as India manage 182 for four in their 20 overs after opting to bat first. A superb comeback this has been from Zimbabwe despite India scoring a really good total. India had their 50 up in 4.1 overs after openers Yashasvi Jaiswal and Shubman Gill got off to a blazing start and looked set for a massive total. But after that, the Zimbabwe bowlers bowled really well to pull things back. In the middle overs, they kept the India batters in check before Gill and Ruturaj Gaikwad upped the scoring rate in the death overs. While Gill got out in the penultimate over for 66, Gaikwad hit a terrific 28-ball 49 before falling in the final over. For Zimbabwe, Blessing Muzarabani and Sikandar Raza picked up a couple of wickets each.
