Victoria Peak

Also known as The Peak, it is the highest hill on Hong Kong Island and is also a very famous tourist attraction that attracts a lot of visitors. The Peak offers spectacular panoramic views of Victoria Harbour, the central business district, surrounding islands like Lamma, and the South China Sea. The Victoria Peak Garden here is a Victorian-style park with lawns, paths, and views of the entire city. The Peak Tower and Peak Galleria offer many shopping and dining options here. One can also go for a hike through the Governor’s Walk Trail, which offers breathtaking views of the whole city.

Hong Kong Disneyland


Located on Lantau Island, this theme park is greatly loved by kids and adults alike. Disneyland offers a park with themed rides and lands of Disney characters and stories along with elements of the culture of Hong Kong. There are many themed lands here such as Fantasyland, Tomorrowland, Adventureland, and Main Street U.S.A., which have themed family rides and parades to fireworks that would definitely captivate you. This place gives the perfect combination of everyone’s favorite characters compiled with dining options and vibrant entertainment. Tian Tan Buddha (Big Buddha)

This is a large seated bronze Buddha statue located on Lantau Island. This Buddha statue is located on the top of a hill and visitors can reach here either by climbing 268 steps or taking the cable car, which also gives a breathtaking view of the mountains and the South China Sea. There is also a Po Lin Monastery here that adds spiritual significance to the place. The statue is constructed in a way that its right hand is raised, which depicts the removal of affliction, and the left hand is open in his lap, appearing as a gesture of generosity. This peaceful and scenic site attracts tourists and pilgrims alike.

Chi Lin Nunnery and Nan Lian Garden

Chi Lin Nunnery is a vast Buddhist compound in Diamond Hill of Kowloon in Hong Kong and is more of a retreat centre for Buddhist nuns and is constructed in the traditional Tang Dynasty style. At the temple halls, one shall see statues of the Sakyamuni Buddha, the goddess of mercy Guanyin, and other bodhisattvas. They are constructed from gold, clay, wood, and stone. The Nan Lian Garden is situated across from the nunnery and is a traditional Chinese garden constructed in Tang Dynasty architecture. Both locations offer a glimpse of the vibrant culture and serve as a peaceful retreat for relaxation.

Ocean Park Hong Kong

An animal-themed park which is also the largest theme park by area in Hong Kong and the second oldest theme park. This park has a lot of attractions and rides such as four roller coasters and animal exhibits such as the giant panda habitat, rainforest, and an aquarium that also consists of the world’s largest aquarium dome. This park is not only made for entertainment purposes but also for educating people about conservation. One must visit this park during late September to early November each year, as an annual event known as Halloween Bash is held here, which is very fascinating as it is greatly decorated with the Halloween theme, making it a must-visit for people who love Halloween and haunted rides and shows.
