Know what Warren Buffet’s advice is

One of the world’s richest men, Warren Buffet is an ardent believer of passion and hard work, when it comes to success. Recently, Warren shared a very interesting piece of advice to college students in his most recent annual letter to shareholders. He said that people need to go after that career, where they would enjoy it and have no need for money. This is the first step towards a fulfilling career. Let’s understand more about what advice Warren Buffet has to give us.

2/4

The quest to find THE career

In a world where there is cutthroat competition all around, finding a career that you love and also pays well is hardly a reality. Many people go after economic success, thus letting go of their passion. And so, Warren wants people to still ‘be on the quest’ to find and do what they love.

3/4

The concept of ‘working’

Warren also added that, “when they (people) find that sort of job, they will no longer be 'working’.” This means people will actually start enjoying their work, instead of labouring themselves with work all day with no interest or fun. It takes time to find a job you love, but it is surely out there waiting for you.

4/4

Other necessary skills

Warren also suggested that people need to hone their communication skills and indulge in good reading habits to be successful. Interpersonal skills are one of the most important things companies look for, in an ideal employee. These skills also strengthen one’s opportunities for securing a better job, in terms of interest, success rate and good income.
