Take a look at some important lessons

There’s a certain serenity and calmness when it comes to Buddhism. Devoting yourself to following the principles of Buddha can change your life in various ways. It can teach you to be sincere, kind and strong. It can give you worldly happiness and help you reach a point where situations and experiences can guide you in life. Hence, here listed are some life-changing lessons from Buddha.

2/6

Love

“Hatred does not cease by hatred, but only by love; this is the eternal rule.” ~ Buddha

Love is the only feeling and emotion in the world that is so powerful, that it drives all other emotions like sadness, happiness, anger or frustration.

3/6

How can you be defined

“A man is not called wise because he talks and talks again; but if he is peaceful, loving and fearless then he is in truth called wise.” ~ Buddha

Our actions define who we are. We cannot expect people to respect us if we keep imparting unnecessary wisdom. Sometimes, it is wise to stay silent and observe your surroundings.

4/6

The power of words

“Words have the power to both destroy and heal. When words are both true and kind, they can change our world.” ~ Buddha

We must be very careful with what we say, since words have a great impact. If we say something hurtful without thinking about it twice, it can have a devastating effect on the person we say it to. But if kind words are said, it can heal a person too.

5/6

Ambition in life

“No one saves us but ourselves. No one can and no one may. We ourselves must walk the path.” ~ Buddha

We have to walk towards our ambition and goal in life with persistence, integrity and hard work. No one can do it for us, but ourselves. We can’t expect others to make our dreams come true for us.

6/6

Fear

“The whole secret of existence is to have no fear. Never fear what will become of you, depend on no one. Only the moment you reject all help are you freed.” ~ Buddha

Gripping onto fear will only leave you behind in life. When you finally let go of that fear, then only will you be free of any bindings.
