Here is how you can find out

When we say cheating, it can bring forth many painful memories. Some of us may have never seen it coming but many even turn a blind eye towards that peculiar behaviour with our brain rejecting that our loved one could cheat. Detecting if someone is cheating you, whether in a personal or professional relationship, can be a complex task as cheaters can be quite skilled at concealing their actions. However, there are some common signs to be aware of that might indicate dishonesty. Read on to know more.

2/8

Behavioural changes

If someone is cheating, they may exhibit significant behavioral changes. This could include increased secrecy, sudden defensiveness, or an overall shift in their attitude and actions.

3/8

Lack of transparency

A lack of transparency in communication is a red flag. If someone is hiding their phone, messages, or other forms of communication, it might be a sign of deceit. Also, watch out for a reluctance to share information or becoming unusually protective of their privacy.

4/8

Inconsistencies in stories

Cheaters may have trouble keeping their stories straight. If you notice discrepancies or inconsistencies in their explanations or details about their actions, it's a sign that something may be amiss.

5/8

Changes in intimacy

In a romantic relationship, a decrease in physical or emotional intimacy can indicate cheating. Conversely, some cheaters may become overly affectionate or attentive to hide their infidelity.

6/8

Unexplained absences

Frequent unexplained absences or sudden changes in schedule can be a sign of dishonesty. If someone is consistently unavailable during times they were previously accessible, it's worth investigating.

7/8

Gut feeling

Trust your intuition. If you have a gut feeling that something is wrong or that you're being cheated, explore these feelings and seek the truth. Your instincts can be surprisingly accurate.

8/8

Unusual financial activity

In some cases, financial inconsistencies can be a sign of deceit. Look for unexplained expenses, hidden accounts, or secretive financial behaviour.
