Here are some honest confessions of husbands

There are so many cases where the wife is possessive and the husband is suffering. Many people would be able to connect to this scenario where personal freedom is threatened. Here are a few anonymous confessions of married men who have over possessive wives and we feel bad for them if their words are true.

At first, I thought it was endearing

I've been married to my wife for over a decade now, and there's something I need to get off my chest. She's incredibly possessive. At first, I thought it was endearing, her wanting to be a part of every aspect of my life. But as the years passed, her possessiveness became suffocating. She constantly checks my phone, asks where I'm going, and even gets jealous when I spend time with friends. I love her, but sometimes I feel like I've lost my independence.

It's hard to maintain a sense of individuality

Being married to a possessive wife has its challenges. I adore her in so many ways, but her need to control my every move is frustrating. She constantly tracks my social media, insists on knowing my passwords, and even accompanies me on business trips. It's hard to maintain a sense of individuality and trust when she's always so suspicious. I wish we could find a healthier balance in our relationship.

4/5

Her possessiveness is pushing me away

I've been married for six years, and my wife's possessiveness has become a nightmare for me. She often wants to know where I am at all times and frequently interrogates me about my female colleagues. It's become difficult to have privacy or maintain close friendships without her feeling threatened. I've tried to talk to her about this, but she says it's because she loves me and can't bear the thought of losing me. I want to make it work, but her possessiveness is pushing me away.

I feel I should actually cheat on her NOW

My wife and I have been married for 15 years, and I never thought her possessiveness would escalate to this level. She insists on knowing every detail of my day, from the moment I wake up until I go to bed. She questions my loyalty to her, even though I've never given her a reason to doubt me. It's incredibly frustrating and makes me feel like I'm walking on eggshells. I've started to avoid conversations or situations that might trigger her possessive tendencies, and it's taking a toll on our relationship. Even my kids can see the fear and irritation. I feel I should actually cheat on her if I am already getting hell for something I haven’t done!
