How these busy Bollywood dads take time out for their kids

​Aamir Khan plans to spend more time with his kids

Superstar and Bollywood's perfectionist Aamir Khan recently shared that he wants to take a break from acting, to spend more time with his children and family.

“When I am doing a film as an actor, I get so lost that nothing else happens in my life. I was supposed to do a film after Laal Singh Chaddha called Champions. It’s a wonderful script, a beautiful story, and it’s a very heartwarming and lovely film. But I feel that I want to take a break, be with my family, with my mom, and with my kids,” he said at a recent event in Delhi.

For the unversed, Aamir has three children -- son Junaid and daughter Ira with ex-wife Reena Dutta; and son Azad with ex-wife Kiran Rao.

​Shahid Kapoor

Shahid Kapoor and Mira Rajput became parents to daughter Misha in 2016, and welcomed son Zain two years later. The actor ensures to accommodate his work schedule to spend quality time with his kids, and even took a paternity break when Zain was born.

In an interview, Shahid revealed that it was after becoming a father that he realized he had been pretty self-oriented earlier. Now he puts his children and family first.

​Akshay Kumar

Bollywood's khiladi Akshay Kumar is a doting dad to son Aarav and daughter Nitara, whom he parents with his wife and writer Twinkle Khanna.

He loves doing fun activities with his children. Recently, he went to an amusement park with his daughter and shared pictures on Instagram.

"Took my daughter to an amusement park yesterday. Looking at her happy smile on winning not one but two stuffed toys for her was hands down the closest I’ve felt to being a hero. #BestDayEver," the caption read.

​Saif Ali Khan

Saif has had a kid every decade -- Sara and Ibrahim with ex-wife and actor Amrita Singh, and the little ones Taimur and Jeh with wife and actor Kareena Kapoor.

The actor ensures going out on ice-cream dates with Taimur, playing with Jeh and remains connected with Sara and Ibrahim on a regular basis.

Sharing in an interview that he loves and adores all his kids equally, Saif said, "Every time you have a child you divide your heart."

​Ajay Devgn

Actor Ajay Devgn and wife and actor Kajol ensure taking time off from all work commitments to spend quality time with their kids -- daughter Nysa and son Yug.

He plans family vacations to beautiful locations like Paris and Maldives. He believes in having a friendly relationship with his kids, with clear and open communication.

​Shahrukh Khan

King Khan SRK loves his kids -- Aryan, Suhana and AbRam -- with all his heart, and makes sure to stay connected with them, even when work gets busy.

During the COVID quarantine, he shared on his Twitter handle, "Inspite of contributing to the population boom, having three kids to be with is a treat. They r in all shapes and sizes, so the day goes by being with them each for a couple of hours. Then spend rest of the day cleaning up their toys!"
