Make your washing machine a wonder machine!

Washing machines are wonder machines and most of us do not know about its complete use too. There are several things we can clean in washing machines other than clothes and you will be pleasantly surprised to know about them. These are probably one of the most dirty things around in house and you can wash them easily in your washing machine.

Sport equipments

Sports gear absorb your sweat and are prone to dirt all around. Just wiping them clean will not be enough and hence they must be washed properly. Just put your athletic gear in a mesh cover or you can put them inside pillow covers so that the hard base does not get damaged. Use a slow cycle and mild soap.

Reusable grocery bags

After the ban on plastic bags, grocery bags made of cloth are being widely used. These bags carry dirt of raw vegetables and we hardly get a chance to clean them. You can easily wash them in the washing machine.

Shower curtains are one of the most ignored bathroom accessories we ever think of cleaning. Since they are drenched in water all day we do not think much about cleaning them but dirt settles on these curtains easily. Wash them in cold water gentle cycle every week and see the difference.
