Actor Fardeen Khan has stunned his fans with his transformation!

The path to achieving a well-defined, toned and fit body is a challenging one. While many set out to make a difference, only a few manage to see through it. There is no denying that even popular celebrities have a hard time staying in shape. Fardeen Khan, son of late actor Feroz Khan, who is known for movies like Prem Aggan, No Entry and Jungle, struggled with being overweight too. He was last seen in the film Dulha Mil Gaya in 2010, following which it was almost like he quit the film industry.


Now, the buzz is back, with the actor looking extremely dapper, waiting to make a comeback in Sanjay Gupta's 'Visfot'. The jaw-dropping transformation has become the talk of the town and people are really curious as to how the actor managed to get back into shape. Here's a look into the actor's weight loss journey.

When Fardeen was trolled for being overweight

The most difficult part of being overweight is tackling social criticisms and stigmas.

Having gained a lot of weight, back in 2016, Fardeen Khan was mercilessly trolled by people on social media and was body shamed for the same. The actor then took to Facebook and left a note saying, "Not ashamed, depressed or blind" and added "I believe the right to laugh at another is earned by having the courage to laugh at yourself."

What inspired him

While the actor has stunned everyone with his drastic transformation, it was surely not an easy journey.


Besides diet changes, workout routines, his family played an important role in keeping his spirits high and motivating him to work harder. In an interview with Bombay Times, Fardeen revealed how his children, daughter Diana and son Azarius helped him stay sane during rough times and encouraged his to switch to a healthy routine.


“When you are a parent, keeping up with your kids becomes a challenge if you are not in the best of your shape. My daughter enjoys skating, cycling and my son runs around in the park. As a father you want to go hiking with them, you want to introduce them to the sports you played. Now, that’s part of the job of being a parent. This made me realise the importance of being fit," he says.

The massive transformation

After 11 years of absence from the Bollywood film Industry, Fardeen Khan has startled the world with his new avatar. Earlier in an interview with Etimes, he said, “I had stepped back then. I was happy. It was this year that I wasn't feeling 25 anymore. I wanted to physically feel 25. As you grow older, body degeneration catches up with you. I wanted to feel very, very good again. You need to think about it as a body-mind connection. I came across this in some reading I was doing."


"I started eating right and healthy, coupled with correct workouts. I have lost 18 kg in the last six months, but 35 per cent journey is yet to go in this aspect. In the work that we do in our industry, you are expected to look your best and you indeed want to look your best,” he added.

The way ahead

Losing weight is a difficult task. But what's more challenging is maintaining it further. With the help of his wife, Natasha, Fardeen was able to accomplish his desired weight. But now the task for him is to maintain it further. He says, “When you work out you initially lose weight, but then there’s a point where it becomes stable, that’s a challenge to work harder and lose weight further. I am happy I was able to push myself and made working out a part of my routine.”

Apart from Fardeen Khan, celebrities like Arjun Kapoor, Sara Ali Khan, Sonam Kapoor, Bharti Singh and Sonakshi Sinha have also worked towards maintaining a healthy weight. There have been major weight loss transformations that have left everyone stunned and awe-inspired.

Fardeen just do intermittent fasting...Eat your dinner before 6.30pm and eat your brunch at 11am or as late as possible. Nothing in between other than water. you can maintain easily...we just eat intermittently and eat more than what our body needs...just stop doing that and you can easily reduce and maintain
