​Why should you add oranges to your diet?


Fruits are rich in vitamins, minerals, antioxidants and dietary fiber, which makes them good for health as compared to packaged fruit juices. The presence of Vitamin C in oranges helps in boosting immunity, the dietary fibers help in improving digestion and gut health and the antioxidants in oranges help in cell regeneration. However, when it comes to Diabetes, fresh fruits contain high amounts of natural sugar like fructose and sucrose, so are they good for people suffering from insulin sensitivity?

​How to consume

The best way to consume oranges is either eating them raw or making fresh orange juice without adding any sweetener.

To amp up the health quotient, add 1 tablespoon of chia seeds to the fresh juice. This will add the goodness of omega 3 fatty acids to your diet.
