Article 370 thali celebrates the flavours of Jammu and Kashmir

While the policymakers are busy sorting out the political chaos related to Article 370, a Delhi-based restaurant is trying to bring in peace with its flavours. Ardor 2.1, a popular restaurant, known for its offbeat thalis has introduced Article 370 thali (United India Thali) that celebrates the flavours of Jammu and Kashmir. Here is all you need to know about it.

What’s the idea behind this thali?

According to the restaurant, Kashmir has been always a vital part of India and now that the same has been officially announced, the eatery wants to welcome the decision with open arms. And, that's not all, INR 170 from the MRP of the thali will go to Kashmir Relief Fund as a gesture of support to the Kashmiris. Also, to encourage secularism, they want their guests to come along with their Kashmiri friends and gorge on these delicious thalis.

There's a discount and here's how you can avail it

If you are a resident of Jammu and Kashmir, you just need to show your government ID card and avail INR 370 discount. The veg thali will cost you INR 2,370, while the non-veg one comes at INR 2,669 (taxes extra).

What do you get in the thali?

The veg thali includes Kashmiri pulao, Khameer ki Roti, Khumani ki Roti, Nadru ki Shami, Dum Aloo and Kahwa. The non-veg thali includes all this along with their signature Rogan Josh.

Owner’s take

Suvvet Kalra, owner, Ardor 2.1 says, “We are a secular country and to survive in peace and harmony, each one of us needs to make an effort. This is our contribution to the flavours of the nation, to stand together united as one big family.”
