​​Sarson saag​


Sarson saag is a popular saag recipe from North India, especially Punjab. This dish is prepared with mustard greens(sarso saag) and is often served with makki di roti (corn flatbread) and is rich in vitamins, minerals, and fiber.

​​Palak ​


Another popular leafy green is Palak(spinach), which is widely consumed during the winter season for its unique taste and health benefits. Loaded with the goodness of iron, folate, fiber and calcium, and vitamins A and C, this leafy green is prepared in so many unique ways by adding it to soups, curries, sabzis, parathas and what not!

Bathua is one of the most common leafy greens prepared in most Indian households. This saag is naturally rich in dietary fiber, vitamins and minerals like vitamin A and calcium to name a few.

Methi also known as Fenugreek is yet another saag, which is widely consumed in India during the cold weather. The leaves of Methi are slightly bitter in taste and are used in various Indian dishes. They are a good source of iron, dietary fiber, and other nutrients.
