When it comes to overall health, several vitamins and minerals are required for the body. However, each one of them has its own functions for the different body parts. While vitamin A helps the body in fighting against several illnesses and infections; Vitamin B makes sure the body’s cells are working properly, and Vitamin C fights free radicals and improves immunity. Just like that Vitamin E has an important contribution to keeping the skin and hair healthy. This vitamin works like an antioxidant and can protect the body from many diseases. Lack of this vitamin can cause damage to skin and hair while weakening your muscles. Thus, it is recommended to consume enough vitamin E to ensure you have great skin and hair. Almonds

This nut is a great source of vitamin E and provides about 7.3 per cent mg in just 28 grams of almonds, which is 49 per cent of the recommended daily value (DV). Almonds are also a great snack that you can munch on whenever you feel like eating. It is also a good source of healthy fats, protein, magnesium, and fibre and is good for your overall health.

Sunflower Seeds

Sunflower seeds are another excellent source of vitamin E and provide 4.2 mg of vitamin E in just 30 gms or 2 tbsps. Sunflower seeds are also a good source of selenium, magnesium, phosphorus, and vitamin B6 and can be added to your everyday diet in bread, oats and even smoothies.

Avocado

Avocado is regarded as a superfood as it contains several vitamins & minerals which ensure great health. If you consume just one whole avocado, it will provide 2.7 mg of vitamin E which is 18 per cent of the DV. You can make a sandwich, or salad or have it as it is to ensure a good amount of Vitamin E consumption.

Spinach

This leafy vegetable is known for its rich iron content, but many don’t know that it also contains a good amount of vitamin E which can help in achieving great skin and overall health. If you consume just one cup of cooked spinach, it provides 1.9 mg of vitamin E. To include this vegetable in your diet, you can make a salad, air fry or even cook dishes like Dal Palak, and Saag to ensure that a good amount of Vitamin E is being consumed. However, make sure that whenever you consume this vegetable, wash it very well.

Peanuts are the last on our list but are a nut that’s not just rich in protein but Vitamin E as well and provides 2.2 mg of vitamin E to us. It’s the most healthy snack that you can munch on whenever you feel hungry.
