Exude a hint of fashion drama on Baisakhi 2025

Baisakhi marks the arrival of spring and signifies the end of the harvest season in India. It's a vibrant festival filled with joy, music, dance, and delicious sweets, as families come together to celebrate the season of abundance. If you’re looking to embrace the festive spirit with style, why not draw inspiration from Bollywood beauties? Choose a colorful, traditional outfit that not only celebrates the occasion but also showcases your inner fashionista, making heads turn and adding to the festive cheer.

Sonam Kapoor

Sonam Kapoor's ethnic wardrobe will make you stop, stare, and take notes for this festive season. Proving to be the ultimate fashion icon of Bollywood, she looked stunning in a yellow Anarkali designed by Gaurang Shah. The outfit came in with a golden print thread detailing all over it and matched it with a yellow lace and mirror-work dupatta. Neatly tying her tresses in a neat bun, she adorned a gajra and complemented the look with nude-toned makeup and wore a bunch of golden rings with dangler earrings.

Kareena Kapoor Khan

Kareena Kapoor Khan breathed in a stunning kaftan from Sabyasachi’s ‘Heritage Bridal’ collection from 2023 and exuded a modish shade of fashion with a traditional hint. The ink-blue kaftan featured a flattering slit replete with botanical prints inspired by the designer’s affinity for mangroves residing in the Sundarbans. The beautiful kaftan kurta came in with handcrafted panels of gold zardozi work on the sleeves and had signature bits of sequins around the borders. Teaming it with a flat pair of traditional jutis, Kareena rocked this traditional-contemporary look and stood out of the crowd.

Sonakshi Sinha

Sonakshi Sinha has caught the fashion bug and has lifted the fashion bar high in a stunning olive green co-ord set by Papa Don’t Preach by Shubhika. Her iconic outfit consisted of a draped taffeta skirt and was teamed with a strappy bralette blouse dipped in raw silk silhouette. The iconic fit was adorned with shells, metal collars, reflective sequins, pearls, and acrylics that looked iconic and had a decorated neckline hem. She completed the look with an olive-green sheer net cloak that further accentuated the beauty of her outfit.

Katrina Kaif

Ditch the usual shalwar-patiala kurta set and explore the realms of traditional lehengas. Taking inspiration from Katrina Kaif’s wardrobe, she wore a subtle Sabyasachi lehenga from his ‘Heritage’ collection. An ideal pick for newlywed brides for Baisakhi, the colour scheme of Katrina’s lehenga included hints of beige, white, and rosy tints, and she matched it with a beige monotone full-sleeve blouse with sequinned flare detailing. Katrina completed the fit with a sheer dupatta with a zari border and looked like a fashion maven in this couture piece.

Priyanka Chopra

Priyanka Chopra’s tissue salwar with a silk-cotton short kameez crafted in terracotta hue is a perfect fit for Baisakhi 2025. Featuring a round neckline with asymmetrical stitching along the kameez featuring starlet curves, she further uplifted the look with a feathery organza dupatta with delicate hand embroidery, keeping a meaningful yet understated look. She left her hair down in soft curls and carried an all-glam makeup touch with statement big traditional earrings and a subtle pendant necklace show.
