Runway glitz

Day 2 at Indore Times Fashion Week was all about the celebration of Indian textiles and high on glamour. Here's the highlight.

Rhythm by Tana Bana

Designed in hues of Kutch with handcrafted details. The artworks are developed by a group of weavers, designed by Shailja Soni, an expert at EDII. The artworks are going to be presented in the show are the collective efforts of a cohort of 6 young weavers from the Marwada-Vankar community who are hailing from lower socio-economic strata of the society yet they have shown capabilities of being an entrepreneur in their craft.

Samant Chauhan

Designer Samant Chauhan closed day 2 of Indore Times Fashion Week with an exquisite showcase of anarkalis, lehengas and kurta-pyjamas. Jasmin Bhasin was the showstopper for the designer.

SKS in association with kasha fabrics

Sourabh is known for his avant-garde creations. Joining hands with 'Kashi - The Fabric Store' and presenting his fascinating collection on the runway at INIFD Indore Times Fashion Week, Season 2, his collection saw a lot of neon hues.

Shinor by Roshni Gupta

This presentation by Roshni Gupta was a ready to wear collection named Riwaayat. The designer says that her fashion brand Shinor highlights the connection between vintage and modern clothing. The clothes tastefully represent the woman of modern heritage who has a distinct personality which she expresses through her original styles.

Story by Shivam Shivhare

This collection by Story Shivam Shivhare is inspired by an age-old belief that everything has two sides. This muddling modish collection is a striking combination of modern-traditional, festive wear. It comprises of a contemporary range of kurta-pyjamas to men's bomber jackets to modern tuxedos to overcoats. Each outfit presented here is a part of the celebration of our blood and sweat and hope it etches in your memories for years to come.
