Here is a list of his few underrated films
Young Tiger Jr NTR has recently completed 10 years in the Telugu film industry. To mark the special occasion, fans and other celebrities have flooded social media platforms with congratulatory posts for Jr NTR. Born as Tarak, and later named Jr NTR for his stage appearances, the actor made his big-screen debut with Brahmarshi Vishwamitra, which had released on August 19, 1991. He was a child artist in the movie. He then made his adult debut with VR Prathap’s directorial Ninnu Choodalani. To date, he has acted in over 30 films. He is one of the leading stars and has given countless hits in Telugu films. Some of his best performances have gone unnoticed in several underrated films. Here is a list of his few underrated films:

Subbu
Starring Jr NTR and Sonali Joshi, Subbu is a 2001 romantic emotional drama, which was directed by Rudraraju Suresh Varma and saw Jr NTR playing the character of good and kind-hearted youth. The movie chronicles the life of two characters who fall in love with each other without seeing are in search of each other and realize that they are made for each other. Tarak nailed the character of a cool college-goer, however, the movie did not get its due.

Samba
Directed by VV Vinayak, Samba is a 2004 action drama, which saw Jr NTR playing the character of the son of an underworld don and is considered one of the best performances. It tells the story of an underworld don who constructs schools in his village to give basic education to his people is murdered by his power-mongering son-in-law. The latter takes all his business from him. His son takes revenge against him and fulfils his father’s dreams. The movie did an average business at the box office, but Jr NTR’s role is underrated.

Ashok
Ashok is a 2006 high-voltage action entertainer directed by Surender Reddy starring Jr NTR, Sameera Reddy and others. Despite the film’s acceptance at the box office, it goes down as an underrated gem in Jr NTR’s career. The movie was high on emotional value but couldn't garner the eyeballs it intended to. It is considered underrated because many failed to understand what it set out to achieve.

Adhurs
Jr NTR has impressed the audience and the critics alike with his double in Adhurs, where he played two diametrically opposite roles of Chari and Narasimha. The movie received a lot of critical acclamation but failed to get numbers at the box office. Despite having an ensemble cast, the movie failed to impress many making it to the underrated movies list.

Oosaravelli
Even though one of the best works from Jr NTR-Surrender Reddy duo, this film was never been mentioned anywhere as their top-rated craft. In the movie, Jr NTR played the role of a young man who was involved in mercenary activities falls in love with a woman after saving her from a group of hooligans. Later, he sets out to avenge the deaths of her family members. However, the film couldn't perform as per expectations at the box office.
