As a child artist

We now know him as one of the most gifted and highest-paid actors in Tollywood, and his debut to have been the 2003 movie Gangotri. But did you know that he was actually a Tollywood child artist and made his debut in the 1985 movie 'Vijetha' at the extremely young age of 4? He was also seen as a child artist in the 1986 film 'Swathi Muthyam'. He is now critically acclaimed and has many accolades to his name. He has grown up to be a man with a lot of Filmfare Awards and other prestigious awards to his name, along with a beautiful wife, two children and some of the best roles in the industry!

​First cameo appearance

Remember a youngster was seen dancing well in the dance school of Raj Kumar (Chiranjeevi) in the 2001 film 'Daddy'? If you have watched this Chiranjeevi starrer even once it wouldn’t be so hard to not remember this guy. Well, the youngster who set the stage on fire with his electric dance moves was none-other than Allu Arjun. Looking at him then no one ever thought that this chap would make it so big in the industry. But the actor proved everyone wrong, and you all can see where he has reached.

Allu Arjun part of Forbes India's Celebrity 100 list

Allu Arjun is one of the Indian actors to make it to Forbes India's Celebrity 100 list. The actor has worked his way to the top in Tollywood. Since 2014, he has been featured in the list based on his income and popularity. Allu Arjun rose to fame with his 2003 film Gangotri. But it was 2004's Arya that turned his fortunes around. Soon, he became a Tollywood heartthrob. He then went on to feature in many successful films such as 'Bunny', 'Happy', 'Desamuduru' and 'Parugu' among others.

100 crore films of the actor

Allu Arjun entered the Rs 100 crore club with 'Race Gurram' in 2014. Since then, over five films by the actor have scored a century at the box office. His latest outing 'Pushpa: The Rise' has also entered the Rs 100 crore club. Prior to this, Allu Arjun scored a century with Boyapati Srinu’s 'Sarrainodu', Harish Shankar’s 'DJ: Duvvada Jagannadham' and Trivikram Srinivas’s 'Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo'. His next big release 'Pushpa: The Rule' will probably achieve this feat.

Allu Arjun has taken the industry by storm and has been the pride of the Telugu film industry since the start. The actor won Filmfare Award five times for his marvellous performance in Bhaskar’s 'Parugu', Krish Jagarlamudi’s 'Vedam', Surender Reddy’s 'Race Gurram', Gunasekhar’s 'Rudhramadevi' and Boyapatir Srinu’s 'Sarrainodu', and Nandi Award five times for K Raghavendra Rao’s 'Gangotri', Sukumar’s 'Arya', 'Parugu', 'Vedam' and 'Rudhramadevi'.
